General Description:-
As I said on the main blog page this decent Orbitur site is a very rare animal indeed, most are very badly maintained, if in fact they are in any way maintained at all. Here the grounds were well kept and the half dozen or so facilities blocks only number 4 was open. There are few marked pitches and those that are generally marked for motorhomes only, this is because the ground is generally soft and motorhome going on the caravan pitches often find themselves bogged down in soft sand. On both occasions we have visited staff have pointed us to the motorhome pitches as being the sunniest and therefore the best winter pitches.

Toilets and Showers:-
The facilities block number four was clean and well maintained, I didn’t inspect all the toilet cubicles but all seemed to have seats. Loo paper was provided but not soap or towels. The showers were of good size and showed no sign of spraying water where it wasn’t wanted, someone had even put red and blue dots to indicate which way to move the lever to get hotter or colder shower water. Sadly that had put blue dots on the side you put the lever to get hot water and “vicky verky”, still the thought was there and an effort made.

Laundrette:-
There is a small launderette, two wash and one drying machines, but they are rather expensive at €5.00 for a wash token and the same for a drying token. There is a public laundrette in town around a half kilometre away, we don’t know the cost.

Restaurant:-
There is a bar/restaurant but this was closed for the winter when we visited. There are alternatives within walking distance.

Conclusions:-
This is a pleasant site that we would recommend.

Price:-
When we arrived we informed the receptionist we had an ACSI card and she worked out that we could save €0.90 per day by having the standard rate over the ACSI rate so we stayed here for 10 nights and paid €18.10 per night.
